The source measure is median weekly full-time earnings for full-time non-managerial employees paid at the adult rate. SalaryEquate annualises the weekly figure by multiplying it by 52 for comparison purposes.
National, not city-level
These occupation earnings are Australian national estimates. They must not be presented as exact Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane salaries. Actual pay varies by state, city, employer, industry and experience.
Official quality controls
Jobs and Skills Australia does not publish median earnings for ANZSCO 4-digit occupations where the relative standard error is 25% or higher. The February 2026 ANZSCO file is retained by JSA but will not receive further updates as Australia transitions to OSCA.
